Logo Overview

The revised PALFINGER logo removes the heavy black outline, creating a cleaner, more open form that supports both clarity and confidence. Refined spacing and consistent stroke widths emphasize technical precision – echoing the brand’s engineered excellence. Without the distraction of outlines or uneven kerning, the logo becomes more assertive, more modern, and easier to apply across all touchpoints – digitally and physically.

Color versions

Our logo is designed to be used primarily in its full-color version to maintain brand consistency and visual impact. It may be placed over White, Bright and Natural Limestone or imagery, provided legibility and contrast are preserved. Do not place the logo on Red backgrounds, this use is exclusively for products.

Safe Area

The logo’s height defines the safe area
and equals one unit (U).

This unit determines the minimum space to the layout margin and other design elements to ensure consistency and legibility.

Position & margin

The logo, can be placed flexibly but should always relate to the position of other elements and axes. As typography and other design elements like the red uplifting lines are mostly left-aligned, the logo is often aligned to their axes. 

Outside of regular layout use, the logo can be significantly enlarged where the brand is the sole visual focus.

Format-Based Sizing
Use the predefined sizes for unit and logo sizes as orientation across print and digital formats. Adjustments are always possible based on visual hierarchy and content needs.

Compact version

The standalone “P” from the PALFINGER wordmark enhances recognition at small sizes and provides strong visual impact in limited-space applications.

Its use is reserved for specific contexts where the full logo would be too small or redundant – such as social media profile images, favicons, or app icons.

Exceptional use

In exception cases, it is possible to use the logo lettering free of the pill shape.

The choice between the original logo and the usage without the pill on yellow background depends on 2 factors:

  • When the space is too limited
  • When the logo is applied in open yellow surfaces
