Safe Area
The logo’s height defines the safe area
and equals one unit (U).
This unit determines the minimum space to the layout margin and other design elements to ensure consistency and legibility.
The logo, can be placed flexibly
but should always relate to the position of other elements and axes.
In case of placeing the Uplifting Line full height
the logo sould align with text and Units.
Add additional design elements within the layout area,
using the unit to set spacing between them.
Create the unit by dividing the shorter side of the format by 25.
Use the unit to build the minimum layout area.

Compact version
The standalone “P” from the PALFINGER wordmark enhances recognition at small sizes and provides strong visual impact in limited-space applications.
Its use is reserved for specific contexts where the full logo would be too small or redundant – such as social media profile images, favicons, or app icons.
Without the pill shape
The choice between the original logo and the usage without the pill on yellow background depends on 2 factors:
- When the space is too limited
- When the logo is applied in open yellow surfaces
Space and surface considerations
- When the space is too limited: Where the pill version would feel too tight or reduce legibility.
- When the logo is applied in open Yellow surfaces: Used in layouts or product applications in open and unframed areas, where no additional visual elements are needed.
Combining wordmark and branding
Wordmark and Branding Mix:
Can be used in one design, when applied across different layers or components. e. g., Yellow on a product vs. brand on the packaging.
Note: Do not place the wordmark on Yellow backgrounds alongside other brand colors or elements.
Dont's
Do not use the old logo
and the old yellow color.
Do not remove yellow background
or modify the logo in any way.
Do not use the full logo as a favicon
and / or a social media profile.
Do not rotate, distort or stretch the logo.
Do not place it on busy backgrounds
and keep safe area.
Position of the Logo
does not have relation to other elements and should be placed on the left side.
